A Licenced Labour Hire Service and Permanent Placement Provider


Our client – a well established earth moving business located on the Mornington Peninsula is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering / Estimator.

Duties include:

  • Project and Construction management
  • Managing project plans, budgets and expenditures
  • Reading plans/drawings
  • Assessing quotations
  • Preparation of project estimates and tenders
  • Site visits and inspections
  • Implement safety and ensure OH&S procedures are followed
  • Administration duties

 Skills/Attributes required:

  • A background in Civil Engineering/Construction
  • Experience / knowledge with geotechnics
  • Sound knowledge with OH&S procedures
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Ability to Liaise with internal and external customers
  • Able to read plans/drawings
  • Assessing quotations
  • Drafting invoices
  • Experience in scheduling
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal is paramount
  • Accurate and able to meet deadlines
  • Ability to take instruction
  • Strong computer skills Word and Excel and Autocad
  • A fast learner
  • Must be punctual, reliable, flexible, trustworthy
  • Work autonomously and within a team
  • A sound work ethic
  • Motivated and positive approach
  • Hold a current clean driver’s license

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 40 hour week (8.30 – 5.00pm approximately)

Start:  ASAP

Salary: $65k – 85k (depending on experience)
