Our client is a well-established and diverse business and 100% Australian owned and operated, is seeking a full time CNC Machinist – Setter/Operator.

 Responsibilities:  

• Locate and check all materials before setting and running the CNC Machining.
• Verify programmed parts through Mastercam software and transferring CNC files to the machine.
• Responsible for the manufacture of components to tolerances set out in drawings.
• Check and sign off that all finished parts are precise and machined to the correct specifications.
• Reporting maintenance issues.

Skills/Experience required:

• Relevant trade background is highly regarded however not mandatory.
• Experience in operating and setting CNC lathes and mills.
• Experience using fanuc controls is an advantage.
• Proactive and highly organised.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Have a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• A team player and able to work unsupervised.
• Well presented.
• 100% reliable.
• Physically fit and energetic.

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday   8.00am – 4.30pm

Salary: $60k (Depending on experience) and Penalty Rates for overtime and a fortnightly Attendance Bonus!
