Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor the Continuous Blending Line (CBL) during production
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work procedures and adhering to safe practices within a continuous improvement framework.
Perform essential pre-operation tasks such as calibration and cleaning to ensure proper equipment startup.
Load correct job and verify all fertilizers and raw materials according to Bill of Materials (BOM).
Maintain effective communication with both internal and external parties involved in the production process.
Perform equipment calibration as required
Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Conduct quality checks and take samples as per quality control procedures
Operate gantry crane efficiently and safely
Loading and unloading of trucks
Possess knowledge of computer operations related to the blending line
Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise
Collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and sanitation within the production area
Document and report any issues that may arise with the Production Supervisor
Experience/Skills required:
Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
OH & S experience / Adherence to Health and Safety regulations and protocols
Working knowledge of various high-speed machinery and measurement tools
Understanding of production procedures and workflows
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
The ability to work within a team and autonomously
Clear communication skills
Ability to take instruction
A ‘can do’ attitude
Punctuality, flexibility and honesty
Self-motivated
Reliable and committed
A solid work ethic
Physically fit
Forklift licence / experience an advantage or willing to obtain licence
Clean drivers licence
Days/Hours : Day Shift Hours (38 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday 5.00am to 1.30pm with 30 minute unpaid meal break
Friday 5.00am to 11.00am with no meal break by agreement
Hourly Rate: $35 per hour – (which includes an Afternoon Shift Allowance)

Noting all raw material requirements to the Inventory Controller
Perform daily maintenance and cleaning of machines
Perform any other duties as directed by Production Manager.

Key Purpose:
The Project Sales Engineer is responsible for supporting the Projects Division by preparing formal offer submissions in response to customer RFQs. This includes consolidating technical and commercial requirements, engaging suppliers for pricing, and formatting proposals for customer presentation. Once projects are awarded, the role will continue to assist in the order execution phase by ensuring a clear and consistent flow of information, documentation, and delivery timelines in alignment with customer expectations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Quotation & RFQ Preparation
Review RFQs and project enquiries to identify scope, specifications, and deliverables.
Coordinate with internal sales engineers, suppliers, and the Division Manager to gather required data.
Prepare clear and detailed quotation packages, including pricing, datasheets, delivery timelines, and technical compliance.
Assist in the development of bespoke customer solutions.
Ensure proposals are commercially and technically aligned with customer requirements.
Maintain an internal offer register and track RFQ progress through the CRM system.
Project Support & Order Execution
Assist the Division Manager in compiling final documentation for awarded projects.
Follow up on supplier quotes and update project costing accordingly.
Help prepare order acknowledgements, track key dates, and support customer communication on deliverables.
Consolidate product documentation, technical drawings, and test certificates into a single package for delivery.
Customer & Supplier Communication
Liaise with customers to clarify scope items, respond to RFQ queries, and coordinate minor revisions.
Communicate with suppliers and sub-vendors for component pricing, lead times, and documentation.
Maintain strong working relationships with both customers and vendors.
Sales and Marketing Support
Support technical sales team with product selection, sizing, and catalogue enquiries where required.
Assist in the development and maintenance of standard quote templates and project documentation packs.
Continuous Improvement
Work with the Division Manager to improve quoting workflows, documentation standards, and vendor selection processes.
Provide feedback from each RFQ to improve future tender responses.
Quality and Compliance
Ensure offers and project documentation meet the Company internal quality guidelines and ISO9001 requirements.
Participate in internal audits, reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives as directed.
About you:
Experience in Project Sales (Engineering)
Prior experience in technical sales, quotations, or project coordination in an engineering or industrial setting.
Sound knowledge of safety valves, tank protection, process safety equipment. General valve industry experience is highly desirable.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interpret RFQ documents and project specifications.
High attention to detail and ability to consolidate technical and commercial inputs into a clear offer.
Strong time management and ability to work to tight deadlines under minimal supervision.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to assist in all areas of the project cycle
Well-developed written and verbal communication.
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).
Team player with a positive attitude and the ability to collaborate effectively in a small team setting.
Reliable and punctual.
Driver’s licence / own transport
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or related discipline), or equivalent experience.
