Our client is a well-respected commercial and residential concrete company that services businesses and establishments throughout Melbourne. 
They are seeking a Project Manager experienced in Concrete Construction to join their successful and motivated team.
 

Duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Coordinating/scheduling activities and tasks
  • Liaising with Engineers for design work
  • Estimating time, costs and materials for projects
  • Managing onsite labour
  • Interpreting plans
  • Planning and applying consistent processes for efficient site set up at every stage
  • Progress claim preparation
  • Ensuring all project variations are costed accurately/timely and approved by the client
  • Overseeing risk management across all project phases
  • Checking and approving purchase invoices for accuracy
  • Handling contract related issues and facilitating resolutions
  • Implement and monitor OH & S standards and procedures across the work site

Skills and Experience required : 

  • 3 – 4 years experience in a similar role within the concrete / construction industry
  • Estimation experience ideally but will train
  • Proven experience in concrete structures, suspended slabs/ basement construction, CFA Piling is essential
  • Attention to detail is imperative
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
  • Strong communicator with outstanding negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritise and manage a challenging workload effectively
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox software
  • Builders licence or relevant qualifications an advantage
  • White card

 Days:  Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays as required)

Hours: 8am – 4.00pm approximately depending on business needs

Salary :  $120 - $130K (depending on experience) + Super + Company car & mobile phone

 Duties include :

 ·  Managing incoming stock and lot numbers

·  Pick / packing

·  Despatch of goods

·  Invoicing 

·  Managing incoming delivery of containers and all consignments

·  Unloading/loading stock

·  Checking, recording stock

·  Forklift driving (Walker forklift)

·  Ad-hoc duties as required

·  Heavy lifting involved

Skills/Attributes required:

 ·  Stores / Warehouse, Stores experience 

·  Forklift driving experience

·  High level attention to detail and 100% accuracy

·  Well organised and able to meet deadlines

·  Able to operate independently

This is a once off amazing career opportunity for a Senior Tax Accountant.

A well established Accounting Practice located on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their extremely successful team.

If you have around 5 years’ experience in public practice, perhaps seeking a sea change and / or are wanting to advance your career in Accounting, this is the career opportunity for you!

Responsibilities include:

  • Tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, superannuation funds
  • Client interviews to collect information and/or complete tax returns
  • Liaise with clients re: missing information and queries etc
  • Providing Accounting advice to clients
  • Preparation of BAS’ and IAS’
  • Preparation of financial statements (year end and interim) for the above clients
  • Liaise with ATO re: client issues and queries etc
  • Reconciliation of Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other software, along with manual cashbooks
  • Research on tax-related issues
  • Report to client manager for review, queries and progress on clients
  • Prepare invoices on instruction from client manager
  • Training of junior accountants
  • Assisting with job reviews
  • Any other ad-hoc jobs

Skills/Attributes required:

  • Approximately 5 years solid Accounting experience within a Public Practice
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Xero and other accounting software
  • High level attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive and innovative
  • Flexible and adaptable approach
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Have confidentiality and discretion
  • Solid work ethic
  • Well presented
  • Punctual and reliable

Salary: $90K - $120K (depending on experience)

Days: Monday to Friday

Hours: 9.00am – 5.30pm
