Our client is a well-respected commercial and residential concrete company that services businesses and establishments throughout Melbourne.
They are seeking a Project Manager experienced in Concrete Construction to join their successful and motivated team.
Duties include but will not be limited to:
- Coordinating/scheduling activities and tasks
- Liaising with Engineers for design work
- Estimating time, costs and materials for projects
- Managing onsite labour
- Interpreting plans
- Planning and applying consistent processes for efficient site set up at every stage
- Progress claim preparation
- Ensuring all project variations are costed accurately/timely and approved by the client
- Overseeing risk management across all project phases
- Checking and approving purchase invoices for accuracy
- Handling contract related issues and facilitating resolutions
- Implement and monitor OH & S standards and procedures across the work site
Skills and Experience required :
- 3 – 4 years experience in a similar role within the concrete / construction industry
- Estimation experience ideally but will train
- Proven experience in concrete structures, suspended slabs/ basement construction, CFA Piling is essential
- Attention to detail is imperative
- Highly motivated and adaptable
- Strong communicator with outstanding negotiation and relationship building skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a challenging workload effectively
- Proven problem solving skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox software
- Builders licence or relevant qualifications an advantage
- White card
Days: Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays as required)
Hours: 8am – 4.00pm approximately depending on business needs
Salary : $130 - $150K (depending on experience) + Super + Company car & mobile phone

Duties Include:
- Operate and monitor mixing, pelleting, and film coating equipment to meet production requirements.
- Accurately weigh and measure raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
- Safely operate forklifts for loading/unloading and maintain accurate stock records.
- Handle and move materials efficiently while keeping inventory logs updated.
- Monitor product quality (e.g., pellet size, coating process) and make adjustments when required.
- Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and logistics teams to keep processes running smoothly.
- Proactively contribute to site safety by following procedures, reporting hazards, and supporting continuous improvements.
- Ability to perform repetitive production tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment with routine activities.
- Physically capable of undertaking manual handling tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and repetitive movements, in line with WHS guidelines.
- Forklift driving
Skills/Attributes required:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or warehousing (preferred).
- Ability to operate production machinery
- Forklift licence and safe operating experience.
- Ability to work in an active, fast-paced environment that involves manual handling and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Team player with clear communication skills (verbal and written).
- Commitment to safe work practices and continuous improvement.
- Competent in producing consistent quality work
- High level attention to detail and 100% accuracy
- Well organised and able to meet deadlines
- Able to operate independently and co-operate within a team environment
- Proactive and uses initiative
- Energetic with a ‘can do’ and positive attitude
- 100% reliable and punctual
- Hands on approach
- Physically fit is essential (heavy lifting and manual handling)
- Well presented
- Forklift licence essential
- Must have clean driver’s licence
The successful candidate will be subject to a Police Check, medical and drug/alcohol test.
Hours/Days: 8am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday & 8am to 2:30pm Friday
Salary: $70K - $85K + Super (depending on experience)
