A well-established, organisation is seeking an experienced Machine / Production Operator to join their progressive and successful team.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the Continuous Blending Line (CBL) during production
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, following standardized work procedures and adhering to safe practices within a continuous improvement framework.
- Perform essential pre-operation tasks such as calibration and cleaning to ensure proper equipment startup.
- Load correct job and verify all fertilizers and raw materials according to Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Maintain effective communication with both internal and external parties involved in the production process.
- Perform equipment calibration as required
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Conduct quality checks and take samples as per quality control procedures
- Operate gantry crane efficiently and safely
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Possess knowledge of computer operations related to the blending line
- Troubleshoot operational issues as they arise
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and sanitation within the production area
- Document and report any issues that may arise with the Production Supervisor
Experience/Skills required:
- Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in a similar manufacturing environment
- OH & S experience / Adherence to Health and Safety regulations and protocols
- Working knowledge of various high-speed machinery and measurement tools
- Understanding of production procedures and workflows
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- The ability to work within a team and autonomously
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to take instruction

- Physically fit
- Forklift licence / experience an advantage or willing to obtain licence
- Clean drivers licence
Days/Hours : Day Shift Hours (38 hours per week)
Monday to Thursday 5.00am to 1.30pm with 30 minute unpaid meal break
Friday 5.00am to 11.00am with no meal break by agreement
Hourly Rate: $35 per hour – (which includes an Afternoon Shift Allowance)
The successful candidate will be subject to a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screening
